  Valentina brought Augus to the school infirmary to treat his injuries.   Blood was on Augus's face and nose. His eyes were swollen. There was a bruise on his forehead, and several places on his body were bruised.   But to Valentina - the saintly doctor, who since childhood, had been subjected to cruel training far beyond that of ordinary people, and being shot at was an everyday occurrence - these wounds were nothing serious.
