* * *~*LINCOLN POV*~* * * I hold off on waking up as much as I can. The bed is too comfortable to leave, and I really don’t want to see what my new reality is for the next month. Unfortunately, my bladder overrides anything else. It’s been a good minute since I’ve heard my door open and close- the same person coming in to switch out my food trays. I only know this because the same smell surrounds the room each time she comes in…. must be some hell of a perfume. I get up out of bed, my bones cracking from each step I make until all the stiffness is out. As soon as I relieve my bladder and wash my hands, I can’t help but look at my reflection in the mirror.
