The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was snow. A stupid amount of it. My window looked like someone had dumped icing sugar across the entire world. Frost crawled over the glass like frozen spiderwebs. Outside, the sky kept dropping flakes, huge ones, like the universe wanted me to drown in glitter. I groaned and pulled the blanket over my head.
