“You can come in now.” With the first call from the midwife, we all rushed inside. Once we were in, we found Alice laying on the bathtub, supporting herself up by holding the edges. She’s now almost naked, only wearing a towel around. Why did the midwife took her clothes off?
“Mrs. Shawn? How is she? Is everything okey?” Eric went forward to stay beside Alice.
“No. She’s in labour and ready to give birth.”
“But isn’t it too early? It’s just seven months. Won’t it affect the baby’s health?”
“I won’t worry about the baby because it’s an alpha child. Strong and hard. And from what I checked, the baby’s doing just fine. But I won’t say the same about the mother. She’s not in a very good shape. I am guessing that her doctor wasn’t
