“I wish you were this happy to see me too.” A deeper voice on top of us startled me, and I looked up to find Austin standing there. I didn’t notice him standing at the door till now.
“You gave up on that right a long ago by yourself.”
“I know. And I am still suffering the consequences of it. If you don’t mind, can we come in and talk? I really need to discuss some things with you.” I was ready to face him and have this chat. But I wasn’t expecting it to be so early.
“Yeah. Come in.” I stood up from the entryway and allowed them to get inside. Josie took my hand in a way that she’s never letting it go again.
“Mommy? Daddy said that I am going to get a brother. Is it true? Am I getting a brother?” I laughed out to hear her.
