Two days passed just like that with Austin while we waited for Alice to wake up. None of us picked up the topic about our past and, once again, we ended up being best friends. The friendship bond was back again, and it made everything so easier. But now the wait is over. Two days have ended, and it’s time for Alice to wake up. The moment Alice wakes up, it will be her decision entirely about who she wants to be with. And if she chooses Austin instead of me, I will walk out of her life silently and never return again because I have realized I am the extra one for them. I don’t belong to their family. I broke their marriage; I broke their hearts when all they ever did for me was be kind to me. I don’t deserve any of them.
