James found himself between a rock and a hard place as he looked to Poppy one final time before then focusing his attention at his mother being forced inside his childhood home. Be knew the risk that would play against his chance of survival and yet, also knew he had to start rectifying his mistakes. Especially if he had a plan to leave.
