“Finally.” I heard Maat exhale deeply when we finally stood in front of another gate. This place was seriously weird. At least I was not getting tired or felt hungry or thirsty here. “That’s it?” I asked while staring at another gate in front of us. To my dismay it looked the same as the previous one except this one was purely white. “That’s it. Now walk through.” Maat ordered me and I eyed her cautiously. “Will it hurt like the first one?” I asked her worriedly. “It shouldn’t,” Maat replied practically instantly but her answer didn’t bring any calm to my nerves.
