"Stormie! Where's Beshie?" asked Nadine.
Nadine and Stella left for a few to buy us dinner. We have been here since I found Summer.
I sprinted to the bathroom, but Summer wasn't there. I then ran to the nurse station. The new hospital director alerted the facility security to look for Summer. Unluckily, the entire day passed without sight of her.
I looked everywhere in the private hospital rooms. My knees melt, and my world comes crashing to me after I asked around without a trace of my wife. At nightfall, only then I realized Summer left me—intentionally.
