“Lex, I really don’t see why you are so anxious,” Caden said as they entered his penthouse. After practice, he had swung back to Alexis’s office and picked her up to take her home. He never got tired of thinking about it. This was their home, theirs. Alexis insisted on thinking she was just crashing there for convenience, but he already considered it as much hers as his own. Tossing aside her coat, Alexis immediately paced the living room, disturbing Beethoven who had curled up on the sofa.
