The valet opened the door, allowing Alexis to emerge. Caden circled and offered his hand to help her out. While the valet departed to park the car, Caden and Alexis stepped onto the carpet leading them to the hotel venue. They made a striking pair with Caden in his suit and Alexis wearing a mermaid-style dress that hugged her curves. She had gone with a deep burgundy color to compliment Caden’s trim, black suit and red hair which moved in the subtle breeze.
Alexis desperately wanted to run her hands through the wavy curls, but refrained. There was time enough once they were alone. For now, she would keep her hands to herself.
