Parker has been unconscious for about three hours. The doctor has been in and out checking on his vital signs assuring me that everything looks good. I'm glad he isn't screaming anymore and his pain is controlled but I hate that I don't know how he is truly feeling. I just want him to wake up and tell me he is ok. I rub my hands on his chest hoping he knows I am here with him. I continue to talk to him hoping my voice brings him comfort as he endures everything that comes with the change.
