Axel POV
My arms and legs feel heavy, like they are weighed down. I try to reach out to Blade but he doesn't answer. I remember being on the shore by the pond with my mother and now I have no idea where I am. Its dark and quiet but I'm not afraid. I try to open my eyes but my lids feel heavy too. I fight but it's no use, so I give into the darkness again hoping I'll wake soon and see Zinnia. I don't know how much time has passed and I hear a voice in the distance. It's familiar but I can't make out what is being said. I try to focus but it sounds like a whisper. Blade, I call out again and this time I feel him stir in my mind. Blade answer me, I say again. "Why do I feel like we were hit by a truck?" I laugh just happy to hear his banter. I'm not sure, mom said unbinding our powers
