I somehow managed to get up from Asher’s lap and excused myself from there and went out of the kitchen. I could not spend one more second close to Asher.
Right now, everyone is sitting at the long table which Sam had rented for today. Sam and Mia were sitting together while everybody was sitting on either side of the table. My seat was initially assigned to sit next to Mia, but her niece, who was her favourite, wanted to sit in my seat. So, I gave up my seat for her and sat at the end of the table.
