THREE YEARS LATER
I woke up still on the floor and tried to move, but all I can hear is Mace whining.
What happened?
One minute I was about to go to the office; the next, I screamed in pain. I felt like my chest was about to burst.
The pain was like nothing I had felt before. It all happened so fast. I move up from the floor and use the bed to help me but I stumble as I stand. My knees are weak as I fall on the bed, too exhausted to move.
I felt movement in my head and looked back to see Mace giving a kill look.
