Kane needed no other words before he was running out of the office. The man that had barged in shared a look with me as the air from Kane’s running whipped us, and that was enough to prompt me, and I started behind him.
“The clinic!” The man that had entered yelled after us, and we were quick to take the detour, hopping on the stairs that were leading to the clinic.
I could hear the screams as we neared the clinic, and each shout jolted Kane, and his legs only seemed to move much faster than they were already doing.
We finally got to the clinic, and Kane burst inside, running towards where her voice was the loudest, and I followed behind, refusing to miss any moment.
