For a second, I stood frozen, as if time had stopped, and it was only the two of us that mattered. I refused to blink, afraid that if this was a daydream, I’d lose him. The man was still as dashing as ever; distance and time have dealt kindly with him, and he only looked too good to be true, like a prince in a fairytale. He was in a gray dress shirt and tailored black pants.
