I whistled softly under my breath as I descended down the stairs to the dining room for lunch, the butterflies in my stomach doing their happy dance. My steps were light, barely touching the floor, and I was almost skipping the whole way. Things were gradually looking up for me, and even though it may not be in every aspect, I was very happy. “Good day, Alpha." The voice of a pack member stopped me in my tracks, and I turned, startled by the title.
