Aurora's POV My heart pounded so hard I was sure they could hear it echoing through the hall. Voices drifted out, low at first but growing clearer. The footsteps inching closer to the outside followed. Then my ears perked up when I heard Lucien’s voice. He was talking to someone. My stomach twisted as panic surged through me.
