The silence drags on for several minutes. My eyes are still glued on Alpha Lucien who's staring blankly at the wall. He hasn't uttered a single word and I'm worried because I think I know the answer is, he doesn't believe me.
Even the maid and the Beta seem eager to get his response, but none of us get any.
If Alpha Lucien doesn't believe me, then all my hope is lost. I can't prove my innocence on my own. Not when I'm locked up in here.
