Lucien’s POV: The door creaked open, revealing a dark and dusty interior. I cleared the dust that had caught in my throat as I stepped inside, my boots scuffing against the warped wooden floorboards. Arnaud was right behind me, and together we moved further in. The air was stale, likely due to the place being deserted for so long.
