Seeing Aurora in so much danger nearly made me lose my mind. My chest was tight with anger, but I kept a straight face.

My father growled from the side, but it didn't matter—especially after that stunt he pulled. He poisoned his own son, Arnaud, betraying me because he felt he was doing the right thing. Thankfully, I was able to get through to him, and he gave me the antidote.
This case was just bringing out the worst in everyone, which left me to figure out this whole thing by myself.
