We are sitting in Xane's office waiting for the guards to bring Natalie from the cells. Xander pulls me into his lap, I am sure he can feel my anger through our bond. I am not happy about this girl being here, but I know we need to find Chase before he hurts more people. A few moments later the guard is leading her into the room, and I see her smile at Xander. As soon as she sees me, she puts her head down. Xander is rubbing circles on my baby bump when I feel a flutter in my belly.
