"Trial by Fire"
Despite their many, many protests, Hyacinth manages to wrangle my mates away from me in order to, as she so eloquently put it, see just how much heavy lifting you’ll take. Damon only agreed to leave after the three witches I met with gave him an unbreakable magical vow that so long as I was on their land, they’d do everything in their power to protect me. Even then, I had to convince him to go work out the logistics of giving away a decent chunk of pack warriors for the Night Grove coven. After twenty minutes of heated back and forth, he, Christian, and Erebus agreed to figure out their sh*t in a different room while I get some unnerving one-on-one time with Hyacinth.
