Decisions (Ileana’s POV)
I drove.
I just kept driving.
Adonis sat silently by my side while I drove as far as I could from that place.
I had no idea where I was going but for the first time in my life I had no one around me forcing me to decide. I had time to think through everything that had happened to me. I wasn’t going to take a step back now. Greyson Novak had hurt me for the last time. I was done being submissive.
“Ileana?”
I ignored Adonis’ voice and continued to look ahead.
“Ileana we’ve been driving for an hour. What’s the plan? Are we going to drive until we run out of gas or do you have a destination in mind?” He asked.
I shook my head.
“Ileana please talk to me.” Adonis said with concern.
