(Derick P.O.V) The cell wasn’t very big, against the left side of the wall was a single bed. After having slept on that bed for the past two nights, Derick could comfortably say that the bed wasn’t too bad. A bit on the lumpy side but not bad. On the right-hand side was a cubicle that held a shower, toilet, and basin. Next to the cubicle was a simple desk and chair. Otherwise, the room was bare. Derick was grateful for the cubicle and realized that although he was in prison it didn’t quite feel like it. The light was put out at ten pm and lights came on at seven am. When Derick had first entered the cell, he had been shocked to see five sets of new clothing laid out on the bed. The guard explained that his dirty washing would be collected at six in the evenings and so far, it had been. Af
