Simone was in awe as they got off the private jet. William’s surprise — a getaway to Malibu, California — was everything she didn’t know she needed.
The residence they settled in was beautiful, fancy, but not ostentatiously so. And she found herself appreciating its simplicity and the beautiful interior design.
Seeing as they hadn’t packed anything, she wondered out loud, “Are we going shopping, love?”
“This weekend is about you,” he retorted, an easy smile stretching his lips. “Whatever you want is on.”
“It’s just that we didn’t pack anything,” she let out pensively, her eyebrows shooting into her hairline, even as she refused to believe that William would be so forgetful.
