Maverick is so sweet to the point that it terrifies me. I automatically think he is faking it and is going to harm me. He has been extremely attentive. He hasn't tried anything. He makes me feel comfortable and protected, but what I like the most is the fact that he lets me make my own decisions. How can he be faking it? He doesn't seem to be like those possessive Alpha males that have to make every single decision for their mate or belittle them. He is stirring all of these feelings inside of me that I should not be feeling. It is too soon. I don't even know him that well. But he does seem to be different and that is good. I can't imagine another mate like Charlie.
