“You should stay in my villa for the time being, Char. I will not be at ease with you being alone in here.” Emanuel said to me worriedly while glancing at Danny.
I smiled and looked at Danny, who was also staring at Emanuel with a blank gaze.
“I am not alone here, Emanuel. Danny is here, and don’t forget that this is my home. The place my mom built for me. I will be safe here.” I assured him confidently and looked at Danny.
He smiled, looking grateful for what I said.
