“Char!” smiled widely while looking at Mona who was now running towards me. Her hands were spread widely in the air, and she was beaming widely.
She threw herself in my embrace, and I caught her swiftly. “I missed you so much.” She yelled while tightening her grip around my neck. I was now holding her by her waist, keeping both of us standing straight.
“I missed you too.” I replied dotingly. I couldn’t tell how relieved I felt when I embraced her.
With everything going in my life, I missed my best friend so much. She had always been my biggest emotional supporter.
“Promise me that you will not abandon me again.” She whined, sniffing lightly. I raised my brows in surprise by the choice of her words.
“And when did I abandon you, Mona?” I asked teasingly and she faked
