"I can't wait for today's council meeting," I told Lin.
"Yes, Your Imperial Highness. I've heard that the council will discuss the relief efforts for the village affected by the drought," Lin said.
"I hope we can get their support. The people in the village need all the help they can get," I said with a sigh.
As we made our way to the council hall, I couldn't help but feel nervous. I know that the council members can be challenging to persuade. That's why getting their support is already a big thing.
When we arrived at the council hall, I was greeted by the head of the council. "Good morning, Your Highness. The council is waiting for you," he said with a bow.
I took a deep breath and walked towards the council table. All the council members were already seated, waiting for me.
