I was frozen in my seat. I couldn’t believe he would say such a thing to me. I am his brothers wife for Christ sake. What’s wrong with him.
I glared at him with anger, but he just c****d his head to the side with a devilish smirk on his face.
“What are you whispering to my wife about?” Hector asked, jokingly, breaking the tension between us. “Are you also in awe of her beauty?”
Alex laughed nervously and shifted on his seat.
“Well, at least you can’t deny that your wife is extremely beautiful and irresistible. I don’t think you can blame me, if I’m in awe of her beauty.”
Hector laughed, stroking my thigh under the table, softly. This calmed my nerves a little, and I was grateful for it.
