Anu woke up to the loud dragging sounds coming from the apartment across hers. Upon opening her door, she found her neighbor Leighton, a college girl who lived there with her boyfriend.
"Hey, Leigh!! What's going on?" Her furniture was being shifted out of the house. It looked like they were moving out.
"Morning Anu. We are moving to another apartment.." Leigh said with a bright smile.
"Ohh, why so suddenly?" Anu didn't meet the couple often but the last time they met was a couple of days back in the elevator. None of them said a word about moving out.
"It was decided yesterday. The landlord has sold the building to someone else and the guy who made the purchase, wants to move in here as soon as possible but he made sure to get us a better deal.." She informed, looking impressed by
