Anu's body trembled with the chilled air inside the room. It felt like she was sleeping on ice, the floor was that cold. Opening her eyes into small slits, she peered at the AC to find the temperature at its lowest. She glanced up to the bed where Vinoth was sleeping comfortably under the duvet. She wished she could sneak under them with him but that would be heights of foolishness to do.
She tried to cover herself with the thin blanket she had but nothing worked. Groaning loudly, she got up to go to the washroom to relieve herself first and then to the balcony where the temperature seemed much more warm even though it was the middle of the night.
