Vinoth's words of appreciation for Anu made her heart jump out of her body. She never thought he would one day feel proud of her. She didn't know what got into her when she pulled him in by his collar and smashed their lips together. She tugged at his hair to dive deeper into the kiss. She didn't want this kiss to get over.
"Anu, we are at work.." Vinoth reminded her, just in case she had forgotten it, "I had made a promise to stay away from you.."
She didn't forget it, she just had decided to disregard it for now.
"It's okay to break the promise for once.." She muttered into the kiss.
