A bitter taste hit my tongue, increasing my hatred towards Sapphire. Killian’s grip tightened on my waist. I could feel tension and anger building up in his body, but it was directed by both Killian and Thunder. Sapphire once again tried to snatch someone dearer to me than my life.
“It’s a relief that Thunder didn’t surface or else it wasn’t as simple for him as it was for this wolf. The potion is specifically prepared by his name,” Queen Rosella continued in the same cold tone, and my whole body trembled hard in fear. Fear of losing Thunder to Sapphire’s stupidity. “I can’t believe that she is such a scheming woman in such a young age,” someone whispered behind us but I didn’t pay attention to her.
