My phone vibrated in my pocket just as I was about to physically push Nathaniel toward the door.
I pulled it out, still arguing with him. "I'm not going to allow you to spend the night. You need to get going. This isn't…"
I didn't even look at the caller ID. Just swiped to answer while continuing to gesture at Nathaniel that he needed to leave.
"Hello?"
"I'm going to go get dinner for us," Nathaniel announced, completely ignoring my protests. "Since I'm definitely spending the night. What do you like? Chinese? Pizza? There's got to be somewhere that delivers around here."
