I was still in full celebration mode over this promotion. Still riding the high of having my career salvaged after yesterday's devastating demotion.
I acted all funny in my new office. Dancing around like an i***t. Pretending to have conversations with imaginary colleagues as I tested out my new swivel chair.
I rotated it in circles, enjoying the smooth movement. The comfort. The sheer luxury of having furniture that wasn't broken or uncomfortable.
