Nathaniel and I used the waiter and the head of security to explain everything to Jackson—carefully excluding the part where Yvonne had slept with both of us.
Some truths were too destructive to share. Some betrayals were better left buried.
The waiter confessed first. Told Jackson about the four thousand dollars Yvonne had paid him. Showed him the text messages on his phone. Explained how desperate he'd been for the money with a newborn at home.
