When Yvonne said "ladies' stuff," I understood what she meant immediately. Could be that Hailey was on her period, or she was ovulating, or experiencing some other hormonal issue that women dealt with and rarely discussed in mixed company. Something that would cause fainting if combined with stress and not eating properly.
It made sense. It was logical. It was the kind of medical explanation that should have calmed me down.
But it didn't.
Because some part of me couldn't quite accept any explanation that didn't involve calling a doctor. Getting a professional opinion. Making absolutely certain.
