I was getting hungry now, so Logan and I went to the restaurant instead of staying in our room and ordering room service. It was crowded here, so we had to wait long for our turn to order.
I laughed as Logan was telling me a joke about his childhood. Which led me to ask my next question.
“What happened to your parents? I haven't heard you talked about them.” It took him a while to tell me about them. His explanation alone let me realize that they weren't close.
“My mother found her mate and left to live at another pack. Whenever I tried to visit her, the alpha there would always say that she didn't want to see me.” He had a blank Express on his face as he continued to talk. I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, which made Lilly whine with the need to comfort him.
