"Okay, fine. She can come with us all you want! And I hope you guys are happy now." She ranted, with the mindset that she was going to be seen as a bad sister in the eyes of Catherine if she keeps fighting against Sarah going with them to London. She believes that Sarah was Catherine's best friend even as Catherine had associated with Sarah much closely when they were in high school than anybody else and if she should kick against it now that her dad was offering to separate them while they were in London, Catherine might never want to associate with her when they get to London. She felt she might as well lose her sister's love which she's been trying so hard to win, if she turns out to be the reason why Sarah would not go with them.
