Antony’s jaw dropped as he got to hear the bitter truth of his lie and there was no way to step out of it.
Pulling his arms, Leo retorted, “Zaiden, stop. You are being too harsh on them.”
Clutching his chest, Kai whined in a dramatic way, “Ouch! that hurts!”
“Hand me the key!” Zaiden extended his hand towards him.
Antony glanced at Kai as if a husband was asking for permission from his wife.
Nodding his head, Kai instructed, “Give him.”
“Okay, but first tell me what is going on? Who hit whom? And what command has my father given?” Antony tried to take the opportunity to comprehend the situation that he missed in his absence.
Rolling his eyes, Kai grumbled, “If you were that interested in this subject then it was better to be with us rather than roaming around the town with a lady.”
