~ MAIA’s POV ~
“Hunter, I’m bored!” I whined and groaned dramatically, dropping my head onto the big textbook staring at my face.
“I know you are, but we gotta study. Midterms are next week,”
Hunter didn't even look up to see me. He was too busy reading and scribbling notes in his little notebook. I let out an annoyed sigh and put my textbook away. We were sitting down on the floor, in the Economics aisle at the campus library. Today was a Saturday and I thought Hunter and I could spend some time together. He said okay as long as we could go to the library first. I said okay because I thought we’d only spend like an hour there. But no. We had been stuck in the same spot for the last three hours!
