“Guys, we’re here!” I announced as Maia and I walked into my family home in Little Falls. We had snow covering our hair and shoulders because it was snowing like crazy outside. This year, New York was hit with a couple of big snowstorms. Normally it wouldn’t be this crazy in late November, but that’s life. One should always expect the unexpected.
“Mom, dad, nana! HUNTER AND MAIA ARE HERE!” Paisley screamed in excitement as she raced down the stairs and lunged herself at Maia and me.
