Kassia POV
Those words gave me pause. While she may treat me like crap, she did save me and she was my sister. It took me a few seconds to consider my options. I didn’t think my sister had done this, but did I owe her my happiness? I felt Gonzalo squeeze my hand and looked down to see the worried look on his face and I made up my mind.
“Then you need to search quickly and find a way to absolve her. You and I both know my sister isn’t capable of murder. She finds it beneath her,” I told him.
Armand’s eyes flashed red “You will come home or I will go down there personally to get you.”
“You would be declaring war on the moon goddess and my pack if you try to take my Beta’s fated mate.” Helios stood.
“Mate? Vampires don’t have fated mates.” Armand said quickly, taken back by his words
