He didn't. He had no plans the following day. I woke up at around seven-thirty and I found him still under the thick comforter with his legs sprawled out. He was lying on his stomach and seemed to be in deep sleep so I didn't wake him up. I learned little about cooking but at least I could cook eggs. I prepared that for him and toasted bread. His coffee was my favorite so I waited for him to wake up instead. I was arranging the toast on the plate when the telephone rang. I left my work to attend to it from the corner, worried that it would wake up Razbill. I accepted the receiver and was about to speak on the other line when Razbill's deep voice answered me.
