"It's fine! We won't take long!" the man said loudly as he pointed to the narrow stairs and after instructing me which room to go to. I was reluctant which caused my slow movements. But Razbill nodded reassuringly at me so the man, Nemie, turned to see me still lingering at the landing of the stairs. To his loud instruction, I proceeded to the small steps. I had never stepped such small stairs that I became extra careful going up and even had to touch the wall for support. Disoriented, I reached the top floor before I knew it. I was greeted by total darkness. I couldn't even see the doors. My hand was hesitant to search the wall for a light switch. And for a moment, the man's instruction got lost in me.
