After determining who was behind the lies and deceit, Sin and Mikey filled in Dorian and Allie. Allie couldn’t believe they both came from dysfunctional families that only cared about money. The only difference was that they were abandoned for opposite reasons. Allie was abandoned because she didn’t come from money due to her father’s bloodline, and Sin was abandoned because she did come from money from her mother’s bloodline.
“What are the odds?” Allie asked.
“I know, right?” Sin replied.
“What did your dad say?”
“He’s pissed, of course.”
“There’s no chance that old hag is still alive, is she?”
“She is.”
“Damn.”
“That’s what my dad and I said.”
“How old is she then?”
“According to the birthday on her ID and passport, she’s 60.”
