“You better not be lying to us, Katana,” Mikey said maliciously. After being practically forced to show them where Lazaro’s compound was, Katana reluctantly led the way.
“I’m not,” she begrudgingly replied.
“Good. Because you know the consequences if you aren’t,” Sin said beside her.
“I don’t get it. We already had her. Why threaten her with a bounty?” Leah asked from behind Sin.
“She’s not scared of us. Well, at least she pretends not to be,” Sin replied as she gave a knowing look at Katana. “But imagine if we cut her loose with an open bounty on her head for twenty million. She’d have to look over her shoulder for the rest of her life. She’d never be able to sleep.”
